What you can review today

Explore historical memorial records by state, follow selected modern cases, and read James Cameron’s survivor story. Public records link to their sources and distinguish established facts, official findings, family statements, and open questions.

This is an early, growing collection—not a complete national count. Missing records do not mean no violence occurred in a place. Modern cases may have pending or disputed findings; inclusion does not establish that a death was a lynching. Survivor stories are separate from the count of people killed.

Source coverage varies. Two links do not necessarily mean two independent accounts. Unresolved details remain identified for further research. Case updates are reviewed manually; automatic monitoring is not currently active.
